Discussion:
Fabulous Nazi song, anyone know what they're singing?

I sure like it.

I suppose there's more passion due to not knowing what they're
saying.

Everyone fails to know that the Nazi party was about communion,
fellowship, unity amongst a people just like an American Indian tribe
performed it.

And this song reflects that.

But regarding the race theories that Hitler supported, I now say they
are not factual, due to Bruce Lee's beautiful kids, half Chinese half
American.

All their singing didn't keep us from turmning all of Germany into a
flaming burning mass of wreckage,

That's true. Of course the Germans, heavily outnumbered, still managed to
turn a lot of our B-17s and B-24s into flaming burning masses of wreckage
too.

But we did beat them, and thereby made all of eastern Europe safe for Stalin
and communism for a generation or two, with all the vast amount of tyranny,
brutality, rape, imprisonment, torture and murder that that implies.

Impressive airplane, that B-26. Too bad we weren't using 'em against the
U.S.S.R. instead of Germany. As Patton said, "We are destroying the finest
race in Europe."

Bullshit. Most of the German Army was killed or captured on the
Eastern Front, by the Red Army. antecedents of these guys, who
celebrate their victory over the Nazis every year with a parade.

Dunno about that one, but here's the Horst Wessel Lied with both sound and
lyrics:

Since the words are given in German, I have no idea what they say. But I've
always thought that one of the most stirring patriotic/military songs I've
ever heard, even without knowing what the lyrics meant.

I first heard it in the movie "Battle of the Bulge." Robert Shaw plays a
panzer commander, and just before his unit makes its final desperate attack,
ill-fated because they are almost out of fuel, his tankers sing the Horst
Wessel Lied. It was very moving. I think the last time I saw the movie on TV
that whole part had been cut out, perhaps because it was so stirring and put
the Germans in a heroic light, which of course we must never have.

BTW, here's a video of British Fascists also singing the Horst Wessel Lied:

Jeebus. The great Nazi wannabe doesn't know German.
Guess that means you passed the neo-nazi IQ test.

Nah, the real test is being able to tune the radio to the local airing
of 'Rush'.

Germany was having trouble
What a sad, sad story
Needed a new leader to restore
Its former glory
Where, oh, where was he?
Where could that man be?
We looked around and then we found
The man for you and me

LEAD TENOR STORMTROOPER:
And now it's...
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Deutschland is happy and gay!
We're marching to a faster pace
Look out, here comes the master race!
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Rhineland's a fine land once more!
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Watch out, Europe
We're going on tour!
Springtime for Hitler and Germany...
Winter for Poland and France
Springtime for Hitler and Germany!

STORMTROOPER:
Come on, Germans
Go into your dance!

STORMTROOPER "ROLF":
I was born in Dusseldorf und that is why they call me Rolf.
STORMTROOPER "MEL":

Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!

And this song reflects that.
Like "Who stands against us will fall under our fists" or "Yes, the
banner is more than death" or "We are carriers /or rather doers/ of
future deeds".

That's a youth song. Lyrics written by Baldur v. Schirach.
